Twice Blessed Thrift Store is an outreach ministry of Gibson County CWJC. Its purpose is twofold - to minister to those in need and to provide income for the ministry. Twice Blessed offers clothing for families, emergency food supplies, and help for burnout victims. The ministry depends on the donations of good used clothing and various other items to meet these needs. When you donate or shop at Twice Blessed, you are supporting the community. People needing utility assistance may apply at the store. This is provided through the Trenton Ministerial Alliance.
Volunteers are not only essential at our thrift store, but paramount to the success of the thrift store. Our volunteers represent women and men of all ages who are dedicated servants and others who come for community service hours. Our volunteers perform many roles in the ministry such as teaching, mentoring, administrative duties, feeding our daily workers and sorting & displaying all the donations. We start each day at the store with devotion and prayer.
We are always welcoming new volunteers! The store also provides volunteer opportunities for community service hours.
